Overview
The initial release of our Novacloud workspace platform, introduces a range of features designed to provide a great starting point for cost saving and increased and improved functionality for running VMs and desktiop in Azure. Our commitment to delivering a seamless and secure cloud desktop experience is reflected in this first release.
Features
● Manage virtual desktops without managing infrastructure
● Full control over users including access to desktops, times, and SKUs
● Create virtual desktop pools based on different computing models
● Easily view usage and manage environments in the admin dashboard
● Create custom images by adding software to a VM and creating an image to distribute at the click of a button.
● Cloud first login via Microsoft Entra
Changes and Bug Fixes
- Add Image Metadata and Versioning
- Add Plan Options for Upgrading (Coming soon)
- Check Hostpool and configurations are active before processing
- Fix UI display issue for Images without Apps (Custom images)
- Recreate image fixes for when custom image limit reached
- Fix for user connecting to new session after creating image (must wait 30 mins)
- Update UI Icons in tables to use Bootstrap
- Add Polly Http retry policies for Image Creating service
- Update retry policy for fetching bastion data to 6 attempts with x2 backoff
- Add unit tests for additional functionality
